Welcome to the Centennial Memorial Library

Summer Reading Program

Join us for reading fun this summer from June 1 - July 14. You can read for prizes, attend events, and be creative.

Ways to earn prizes:

  • Pick up a bookmark.
    • Read at least one time a day for 7 days. On the back of the  bookmark, mark off an animal for each day you read.
    • After 7 days of reading, return your bookmark for a prize. Prizes include
      • A brag tag
      • One coupon for an ice cream from either Dairy Queen or Sonic.
      • An entry form - fill out an entry form and put it into a jar for a drawing for a big prize.
    • Pick up another bookmark and repeat.
  • Attend an event
    • For each event attended, fill out an entry form and put it into a jar for a drawing for a big prize.

All bookmarks and entry forms must be turned in by Thursday, July 13th at 11:00 p.m.

The drawings will be held during July so that you have more reading time to earn prizes. But the drawing is early enough in the summer so that you may enjoy the parks if you win.
